We will be hosting an Auction and Poker Event on May 25, 2010 at 6:00PM in the upper lobby of the IRA Civic Center in honor of Jackie Bischoff. As many of you already know, Jackie was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung Cancer. We are hoping to raise money for Jackie and her family at this time of need.
Poker Event: We are asking for a $40 donation* for a seat at the poker tables. There will be a set time limit on re-buys, with a suggested donation of $40. This will be a speed tournament format. Prizes will be awarded with NO cash payout. These prizes will consist of donated items not exceeding a value of $200.
*An e-mail account has been set up for those interested in playing in the poker tournament. Due to limited space, the first 300 people registered will be guaranteed a spot at the table. Please RSVP at GRPOKERBenefit@gmail.com to guarantee your spot.
Auction: We will have numerous silent auction items, as well as a live auction at the end of the evening. Numerous items have already been donated, ranging from signed NHL jerseys, WCHA Final Five Package, Autographed Twins Items and MUCH MUCH more. There is something for everyone!
We would like to thank everyone in advance for your generosity to the Bischoff family. Jackie has helped so many people and touched so many lives in her own unique way. Now is our turn to help her fight this disease. Through generosity and prayers, we can make a difference!
Volunteers will be needed throughout the night. Those interested in volunteering at the event, please contact Sarah Holum@ 218-259-9625 or Nancy Koenig@ 218-259-0854.
Anyone wishing to donate to the auction or benefit, please contact Eric Koenig@ 218-259-2433. *This is not mandatory amount, only a suggestion, as no one will be turned away.
